Do you offer studio and outdoor sessions?

Yes. You can choose a studio session or an outdoor location, depending on the look you prefer and what suits your family best.

How long does a family session usually last?

Most family shoots run around 90 minutes. This gives everyone time to relax, explore, and settle into the session without feeling rushed.

Can we bring toys, props or personal items?

Absolutely. Favourite toys, blankets, books or meaningful items can help children feel comfortable and add personality to your photos. Pets are welcome too.

Do you help with posing and direction?

Yes. While I aim for natural, candid moments, I’ll gently guide you with prompts and positioning so everyone feels confident and looks their best.

How soon will we receive our photos?

You’ll usually receive a curated online gallery within 2 to 3 weeks, depending on busy periods. I also send a small sneak peek shortly after the session.

Do you offer retouching or editing?

Yes. I provide light, natural editing to enhance the images while keeping them true to your family. I avoid heavy or unrealistic retouching unless specifically requested.

How much does a family photo shoot cost?

Family sessions typically start from £250, depending on the length of the shoot, the number of people, and the type of location. Every session includes careful planning, relaxed guidance on the day, and a curated gallery of beautifully edited images. If you’d like something more bespoke, extended family groups, multiple locations, or a documentary‑style session at home, I can put together a tailored quote that fits exactly what you need.

Can we order prints or albums?

Definitely. Prints and albums are available as add‑ons through my online print store, perfect for creating lasting keepsakes.

A 20% booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the shoot.

Do you charge travel fees? 

Travel within Cambridge is included. For longer distances as a guide, there is a charge of 0.40p per mile.

Can we add extra hours on the day? 

Yes, additional coverage can be added if your plans change.

Do you offer payment plans? 

For weddings and larger projects, I can offer flexible payment options.
