Every story is different, from weddings and family milestones to portraits and community events — but people often want to know how I work and what they can expect. This page gathers those answers in one place, reflecting my calm, natural approach and the design‑led way I see and photograph the world.

About My Work

Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?

Yes, inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do. Every couple is welcomed, celebrated, and photographed with the same warmth and respect.

What areas do you cover?

I’m based in Cambridge and photograph weddings, portraits, events, and celebrations across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and the surrounding counties. I also travel throughout the UK for couples who connect with my work.

How would you describe your photography style?

My approach is calm, natural, and unobtrusive. I focus on real moments, genuine emotion, and honest storytelling. Relaxed documentary photography and thoughtful, design‑led portraits.

How does your design background influence your photography?

Years in design shaped how I see light, composition, and narrative. It helps me create images that feel intentional, balanced, and true to the people in them.

Do you photograph events as well as weddings?

Yes, I regularly cover graduations, family celebrations, behind‑the‑scenes shoots, sports, and community events across Cambridge and the UK.

Are you available for second shooting or assisting?

Yes, I’m open to second‑shooter or assisting roles depending on the date. If you need an extra pair of hands or additional coverage, just drop me a message with the details.

Booking & Pricing

How do we book you for our wedding or event?

Once you’re ready get in touch as soon as you can. Once the all the details are finalised I’ll send a simple online contract and booking fee invoice. As soon as that’s completed, your date is secured.

How far in advance should we book?

For most projects, a few days or weeks’ notice is usually enough. Weddings are a little different — most couples book 6–18 months ahead, especially for summer dates in Cambridge. If your date is sooner, it’s always worth checking, and I’m often able to accommodate last‑minute bookings too.

Do you offer different wedding photography packages?

Yes, I offer flexible coverage options for weddings, elopements, and smaller celebrations. Every wedding is different, so packages can be tailored to your plans.

Do you require a deposit?

As a guide, a 20% booking fee is usually required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the event or session.

Can we customise a package?

Absolutely. Whether you need extra hours or additional coverage, I’m happy to shape the day around what matters most to you.

On the Day

We’re awkward in front of the camera, can you help?

Most people feel that way. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, and I guide gently only when it’s genuinely helpful. You’ll never feel staged or overly posed.

Do you take group photos?

Yes, group photos are important to many families. I keep them organised, efficient, and relaxed so you can get back to enjoying your day.

What happens if it rains?

Rain never ruins the story. I work with whatever the day brings and always have backup options for portraits and group photos.

Editing & Delivery

How many photos will we receive?

For a full‑day wedding, most couples receive 400–700 individually edited images, all delivered in a clean, natural style.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Final galleries are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the season. I always keep you updated.

Do you retouch the images?

I edit every image for colour, light, and consistency. Light retouching is included, I keep everything natural you’ll still look like you.

Do we receive high‑resolution files?

Yes, you’ll receive high‑resolution images for printing and web‑ready versions for easy sharing.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes. I offer beautifully made albums by Folio Albums and fine‑art prints that can be added at any time, whether that’s now or years after your wedding.

Logistics & Practicalities

Are you insured?

Yes. I’m fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity, which most venues require.

What happens if you’re ill on the day?

I have a trusted network of professional photographers who can step in if needed. I handle everything behind the scenes so you’re never left without coverage.

Can we meet you before booking?

Of course. I offer free video calls or in‑person chats in Cambridge so you can get a feel for my approach before making a decision.

Do you need anything from us before the wedding?

A rough timeline, a short group photo list, and any meaningful details you’d like captured. I keep everything simple and organised.
